I’m Sean Gilchrist, and I am an award-winning creator working across video, writing, illustration, game development, and print.
I make long-form video series, write essays, create visual work and publications, and build games and interactive projects. Some of it’s analytical, some of it’s playful, and some of it’s deliberately strange.
Nowheremade exists as a studio space for that work. It’s where different mediums meet without being forced into a single category or platform. Videos become series, ideas become essays, drawings become prints, and concepts sometimes become something playable.
I’m interested in work that sits slightly outside the center, things that don’t quite fit, and don’t need to explain themselves immediately. That approach runs through everything here, whether it’s a film essay, a fictional world, or a physical object.
This site brings all of that together in one place
Background & Work
I’ve worked across film, writing, education, and independent creative production, contributing to projects in video, publishing, and interactive media. My work ranges from self-published books and original video series to games and visual projects developed independently.
Selected film and television credits are available on IMDb.
